Personal Reflection

HIGH OF MY WEEK: I might have a sleep over with my friend that lives in Mt. Vernon on the weekend!
LOW: I have to draw 2 big maps and 1 little map of Washington state for social studies by December 3rd!
QUESTION: If there are so many hungry people in the world, why doesn't the government do more about it? Also, if people keep telling me to make the most out of my day and do the most I can with it, then why are we in school for 8 hours a day?!?!
GOAL: My goal for the week is to find a soup kitchen and take my girl scout troop there to help!

Yellow Jounalism

A few days ago in my Social Studies class, we were watching the election news on TV, and they were showing the current percents of the voting polls. They said something like the democrats having 51% and the republicans having 29%, but Mr. Tupper said that they were lying and that it was actually a tie with 28% to 28%. That's my best example of yellow journalism.

Halloween was awesome! I went trick or treating with my friend and she said that she was doing "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" play too! It was really weird doing the play in my Zelda costume, but at least I had pointy alien ears!
