High: Ice skating today! Low: I cut my finger on a dog food can. Goal: Finish making Christmas cards for soldiers. Question: If you could change 1 thing about the world, what would it be and why?
That stinks that you cut your finger on a dog food can. You could sue :) If I could change one thing about the world, I think that it would be that everyone would have enough of everything like water and food. My friends live at an orphanage and they are so grateful for running water, when we take it for granted that hour long hot water showers are avaible...
I forgot to say that I think that it is great that you are making Christmas cards for soliders, they really do make a difference in everyones' lives and sending them a card I htink will give them hope for their current job. where do you find about an address to send them to, I would like to do that also.
Sending cards to soldiers is a great idea! If you tell Ms.Bryant about that maybe the whole class could! The thing I would change would be tied between eliminating poverty and ending war. I obviosly think that world peace would be fantastic, but given the way that human minds work that is obviosly next to impossible.
Anna and Martha have a point. In 5th grade our class did that- each person was assigned a soldier to write to and we were told to not expect a response, though one person actually got one! Anyway, if I could change anything in the world, I would eliminate the element of hate. It would stop the war, we would have world peace, and all would be happy. Isn't that what we need? I guess on the other hand I could have everyone happy. Though that could get kind of annoying after a while :-)
That's awesome that you are making cards for soldiers. We did that as a class in 6th grade (I think) for a boy in our class whose brother (I think) was going to Iraq. That would be cool if we could do that as a class :) I think that if we could all get along and help each other the world would be a better place. That's the one thing I would do to change the world.
Chloe this is a little off topic but I heard about your dad. John Lutz is an adult in my scout troop and he sent out an e-mail about your father. My family wants to let you guys know that everything is going to be alright. you are in our thoughts and prayers
